Thornby Premium is the marketing arm of our family farming business focussing on lamb direct from our farm, and more recently, pork from local farmers.
Thornby Premium Lamb has been featured in many leading South Australian restaurants, butcher shops and supermarkets and holds the title of Australia’s Best Lamb.
Our family has been farming in South Australia since 1854 and on our property “Thornby” at Sanderston for over 120 years. We have spread our wings to have a second farm on Kangaroo Island for climatic diversification to ensure a consistent supply of high-quality lambs (and it’s a beautiful spot!).
Thornby Premium Lamb has been recognised on a national stage for our consistency and quality of product winning Australia’s Best Lamb in the nation’s biggest ever branded lamb competition as well as Gold Medals at both the Sydney Royal Fine Foods Show and the Australian Foods Awards.
We are proud to currently supply leading butcher shops and supermarkets across South Australia. Thornby Premium Lamb and Pork is available in whole carcass form and we welcome any new enquiries.
